Strategy & Investment Approach

Nick runs a systematic currency and interest rate model that uses several fundamental, economic and statistical models to predict relative value in markets. Models have a variety of time horizons, investment foundations and assets that create natural diversification controlled by a rigorous risk management system. In addition Nick offers clients a long term lower risk mandate as well as managing several funds part of the Wells Asset Management acquisition that focus on private and higher debt instruments.

Don't fall in love with your positions - the cold hearted rigour of a systematic and disciplined process will win the day.

Investment Themes

  • Systematic

Exploitation of repeatable market behaviour can lead to consistent return generation in a disciplined framework.

  • Risk Management

Understanding and measuring risk is crucial. We use a statistical approach to risk measurement which helps set position sizes and minimize drawdown expectations.

  • Fixed Income & Currency

Our methods are readily exploited in interest rate and currency markets which exhibit repeatable measurable behaviour using highly liquid and readily priced securities.
